Daryl Terry, 66, of Park Rapids, Minn., and formerly of Lake City, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.  

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17,  at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with Pastor Rick Hamilton officiating and burial in Lake City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday with family present after 6 p.m. at Lampe Funeral Home.

Daryl Eugene Terry was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Lake City, Iowa, to Raymond and Bernice (Pierce) Fank.  He served in the U.S. Army, and in 1976 he married Susan (McCrea) Clark at Woodlawn Christian Church in Lake City.  Daryl drove trucks for several years and was a contractor until his retirement in 2005. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Daryl is survived by his wife, Susan, of Park Rapids, Minn.; children, Matt (Angie) Clark of Lake City, Jenny (Scott) Helle of Rockwell City, Chris (Vickie) Terry of Lake City, Scott (Linda) Clark of Early, and Chadd (Monica) Clark of Park Rapids, Minn.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Katherine (Danny) Schamel of Lohrville, Irene Richardson of Florida, Jeannie (Jess) Gordon of Lake City, Loren (Kathy) Hansen of Wall Lake, Shirley (Steve) Daniel of Glidden, and Vickie (Rick) Onken of Lidderdale; and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Ricky Terry; granddaughter Jodi Grote; grandson Anthony Clarkl and sister Deborah.
