Dale Raymond Felix Jr., 65, of Carroll, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at his home.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with the Rev. Cindy Johnson of St. John ELCA in Carroll officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Dale's grandchildren. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dahnandwoodhouse.com.

Born Sept. 4, 1948, in Bonneauville, Pa., he was a son of Dale Raymond Sr. and Gladys Smith Felix. He grew up in the Gettysburg-Bonneauville, Pa., area and graduated from Delone Catholic High School. Following high school, he attended Shippensburg University where he played baseball. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Philippines. He married to Debi Stille in 1973 and later married Diane Speichert in 1980. Dale lived in Nebraska where he worked in restaurant management for Shakey's Pizza, Showbiz Pizza and Wendy's before moving to Carroll in 2008. He enjoyed following his favorite sports teams the Philadelphia Phillies, the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, and sharing his knowledge on the baseball field. He coached many Carroll Rec League baseball and softball teams as well as the Carroll Crush traveling team. He was a member of St. John ELCA in Carroll.

Dale is survived by three sons: Chad Felix (Amanda) of Carroll, Dale Raymond Felix III (Jackie Alba) of Omaha and Michael Felix (Kacie Carr) of Carroll; two daughters: Farrah Peterson of Carroll and Jennifer Bendgen (Jason) of Woodbine; his mother Gladys Felix of Bonneauville, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; three brothers: Jim Felix (Loy) of St. Maries, Idaho, Dave Felix (Cindy) of Bonneauville, Pa., and Ron Felix of Crab Orchard, Ky.; three sisters: Cathy McMaster of Bonneauville, Pa., Diane Adams of York Springs, Pa., and Lynn Zepp of York Springs, Pa.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dale was preceded in death by his father Dale Raymond Felix Sr.
