Harriett A. Blair Moore, 83, died at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.
Honoring Harriett's wishes, she will be cremated and a private family service will be held. Memorials may be sent to Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, 2630 9th Avenue South, Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501. Harriett Blair was born Oct. 19, 1930, at Yetter, Iowa, to Harry and Pearl Hawthorne Blair. She graduated from West View High School in Lake City, Iowa. She married Charles Moore in 1949, and they made their home on a farm near Lohrville, Iowa.
She is survived by her children, Jane Condon (David), Pamela Feld (Jim), Ryan Moore (Denise) and Dawn Gustofson (Troy); her brother Jim Blair (Kae) in Colorado; her sister Pat Caffee in California; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren J.R. Feld (Amy), Erin Feld Bergquist (Brandon), and Eric Feld; Breann, Blair, and Baylee Moore; Kyle and Lauren Gustofson; and great-grandson Louis Bergquist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1991; her parents, Harry and Pearl Hawthorne Blair; brothers Marvin, Lawrence and Jack Blair; and sisters Sylvia Nichols, Virginia Pierce and Betty Taylor.
