Judy A. Taggart, 61, of York, Neb., died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Lincoln, Neb.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in York with the Rev. Monsignor James Reinert officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, York. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will be 1-9 p.m. Sunday at Metz Mortuary in York with the family greeting friends following the rosary. Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.

She was born Dec. 26, 1951, in Carroll, Iowa, to Francis "Bud" and Phyllis Wells. She was married David R. Taggart on Aug. 22, 1970, in Carroll. Judy was employed at Dale's Electronics in both York and Columbus, Neb.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York, leader of Tiger Cub Pack 172, and a big fan of country music, especially Alabama.

Judy is survived by one son, Scott Taggart of Bradshaw, Neb.; grandsons, Christian and Zachary Taggart of Bradshaw and Kayden Taggart of Lincoln; her father, Francis "Bud" Wells, of Carroll; brother, Bob (Lorie) Wells of Carroll; and sister, Jane (Merv) Nepple of Westside, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her mother, husband and son Robert.
