Louise Theresa Dalhoff, 84, of Omaha, Neb., died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013.

Mass of the Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Omaha. Entombment will be at Calvary Mausoleum in Omaha.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, with vigil service at 7 p.m. at the West Center Chapel of Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler Mortuaries, 7805 W. Center Road. Online at www.heafeyheafey.com.

Born Oct. 12, 1928, Louise grew up on the farm near Roselle, Iowa. She married Frank on Nov. 21, 1950, and shortly thereafter moved to Omaha. After the birth of her four children, she went to work as a cook for District 66 schools and was known for her excellent cooking skills, especially her cinnamon rolls. Louise was a loving mother who instilled in her children and grandchildren a strong faith in God with a caring and generous heart.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Francis W. "Frank" Dalhoff; children: Steve (Maureen) Dalhoff, Diane (Val) Carpenter, Mary Jo (Mike) Zabel and David (Kelly) Dalhoff; grandchildren: Bill (Melissa), Tom, Jim and John (Katie) Dalhoff, Kendy McCoy, Becky (Josh) LaFromboise, Daniel (Kaela) and Scottie Carpenter, Matt (Amanda), Mike and Freddie Markey, Annie (Sylvia) Novo, and Eric Dalhoff; great-grandchildren: Clara, Emme, and Will Dalhoff, Jordon and Kaylee Carpenter, Kendree and Peyton Morton, Chloe and Colt LaFromboise, Colby Carpenter and Hunter Markey; sisters, Lillian Gehling and Dorothy Steinkamp.

She was preceded in death by parents, Anton and Bertha Klocke; brothers: Alfred, Harold and Paul Klocke.
