Marie Perry, 102, a long-time resident of Carroll, passed away March 25, in Phoenix, Ariz., where she had resided for several years.  She was the owner, administrator of the Perry Nursing Home, in Carroll, and the oldest living member of Carroll’s First Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service will be held in Phoenix, Ariz., in Phoenix at a later date, and there will be a memorial service in Carroll.

A daughter of Charles and Minnie Borth, she grew up on a farm south of Anita.

Before moving to Carroll, she lived in Atlantic, Belle Plaine, and Jefferson, where she was the administrator of the former Greene County Home.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Marlyn and Tom Naggs of Greeneville, Tenn,, and Marian Mills of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Perry; a son, Charles Perry; and granddaughter, Jacque Bordeaux.
