Pamela A. Small, 53, of Dover, Ark., died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 25, 2013.

A memorial visitation was held at Lemley Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 30, in Atkins, Ark.

Pamela (Dentlinger) Small was born July 2, 1959, in Carroll, Iowa, and was the daughter of Elmer and Elaine (Hitzemann) Dentlinger. She graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School Class of 1977 in Carroll and Jennie Edmundson Hospital School of Nursing where she became a registered nurse.

She moved to Dallas, Texas, where she met her husband, Jack Small, and they married in August 1986. They lived together in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas where they enjoyed country life, their dogs (furry kids), hunting, horse racing especially the Kentucky Derby, the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks. She also loved gardening, knitting and fellowship with friends and family.

Pamela is survived by her mother, Elaine Dentlinger of Carroll; three brothers, Duane (Wanita) Dentlinger of Carroll, Tom Dentlinger of Carroll and Roy Dentlinger of Phoenix, Ariz.; nephews David Dentlinger and Ryan Dentlinger; nieces Nicole Dentlinger and Kelsey Dentlinger; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Small; her father, Elmer Dentlinger; and brother Chris Dentlinger.
