Patricia L. Conley, 67, of Des Moines, formerly of Carroll, Iowa, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.

Mass of the Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2926 Beaver Ave., Des Moines. Burial will follow at Carroll (Iowa) City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Blvd., Clive, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Catholic School in Des Moines; Keumper High School in Carroll, Iowa; or a charity of your choice.

Patricia was born Oct. 16, 1946, in Carroll, to Francis and Irene Conley. She graduated from Keumper Catholic High School in 1964 and went to work for Northwestern Bell for the next 40 years. During that time, she was an active member of the Communication Workers of America 7102. She retired from Qwest in 2004 and worked part time for FSH Communications from 2004-2013.

Patricia loved to travel and was an avid photographer, capturing many precious moments in the lives of family and friends. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Des Moines from 1970 until her death. Patricia was beloved by her family and friends, and will be remembered for her honesty, sense of humor, and faithfulness as a daughter, sister, aunt, friend and employee.

She is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and George Walden; sister-in-law, Mary Conley; 14 nieces and nephews; 35 great-nieces and great-nephews; dear friend, Jeretta Williams and her children and grandchildren, who were like Pat's second family; the Baker's Cafeteria group; the Waveland Café; and friends at CWA Local 7102.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Francis Conley; sister, Christine Conley; sister- and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Tim Madden; and brother, Frank Conley.
