She was married to Norbert Rupiper on April 24, l934 at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton by Monsignor Huesman. She belonged to many organizations connected with the church such as Catholic Daughters, which recently recognized her 79 years of membership on her 100th birthday; Legion of Mary; Serra Club; and Divine Mercy of Perpetual Adoration, where she found much strength, peace and comfort throughout her life. Rita was a true steward of her faith and church and served as eucharistic minister. In the community she shared her life of caring for others. She enjoyed playing cards, watching television and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling in her earlier years.
