Council Bluffs Lewis Central denied the Kuemper Catholic girls a share of the Hawkeye 10 Conference title with a 53-48 victory over the Class 2A third-ranked Knights (16-4 overall and 9-3 in the conference) on Wednesday. The Class 4A No. 14 rated Titans (18-2, 11-1) made 14 of 29 free throws to 1 of 3 by the Knights.
