A champion donation for Kellan's Kingdom

Availa Bank recently donated $10,000 to Kellan’s Kingdom. With the completion of the Kellan’s Kingdom all-inclusive playground at Northeast Park, additional fundraising now will benefit a Miracle League ballfield planned for next to the playground. Miracle League creates baseball fields that are accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs. Pictured are Sean Haluska (right), Carroll market president at Availa Bank, as well as members of the Tigges family, who have spearheaded Kellan’s Kingdom, including (from left) Kellan, 8, Pat Tigges and Alie Tigges. More information about the projects and about how to donate is available at www.kellanskingdom.com. Available donor levels are Fan Club ($500-$999), Super Fan ($1,000-$2,499), MVP ($2,500-$4,999), Angel in the Outfield ($5,000-$9,999), Champion ($10,000-$24,999) and Hall of Fame ($25,000 and up). With this donation, $200,000 has been raised for the Miracle Field. Once fundraising hits $300,000, dirt work and the initial work to put in the field will begin. Additional work will continue as additional funds come in, Alie Tigges said.
