Carroll County Republicans open headquarters

About 50 guests attended the grand opening Sept. 2 of the new GOP headquarters in Carroll. The headquarters is located in what used to be the Pella Window store across the street from Hy-Vee on U.S. Highway 30. The 1,500-square-foot facility will be a place for local supporters to obtain campaign information, President Trump flags, pins, hats and even face masks as well as to house the Carroll County Republican Central Committee meetings Sept. 14, Oct. 5 and Nov. 2. The headquarters' hours may be irregular but will be posted on the door. On hand to celebrate the opening were Craig Williams, Carroll County GOP chairman who also is running for State Senate in District 6, State Rep. Brian Best, R-Glidden, and staff for President Trump, Sen. Joni Ernst and Congressional hopeful Randy Feenstra of Hull.
