Kuemper students donate peace poles to Regional Cancer Center

Kuemper High School students Morgan Bauer, Kaia Davis, Kerrigan Irlbeck and Megan Scott in December presented three peace poles to St. Anthony Regional Hospital to be set in the garden area outside of the new regional cancer center. The students began this project more than a year ago for a class at Kuemper in which they were challenged with finding a project that made a difference. They presented their plan last December, and when school closed in March, they were not required to see the project through. However, on their own accord, they chose to finish the poles and present them this month. Morgan is daughter of Alison and Jeff Bauer, Kaia is a daughter of Sarah and Spencer Davis, Kerrigan is daughter of Kourtney Irlbeck and Scott Irlbeck, and Megan is a daughter of Susie and Curt Scott. The group received an A on their project.
