‘Broadway Revue’ — Let’s go on with the show

  • 0

From the opening “There’s No Business Like Show Business” from “Annie Get Your Gun” to the finale “All in This Together” from “High School Musical,” Kuemper Catholic High School’s musical this weekend features hits spanning a century of Broadway history.

“Kuemper’s Broadway Revue” will be presented at 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday in the Carroll Recreation Center theater.

Tickets — $5 for seniors and students and $6 for adults — are available at the Kuemper High School office during school hours and may be available at the door if they're not sold out. Seating capacity is reduced to 174 in order to allow social distancing.

In his director’s message in the program, Tim Tracy says, “Grateful. That’s the word that comes to mind as we present this 2021 Broadway review. I’m grateful that we are able to present a show to you after last year’s musical was cancelled by COVID-19. Grateful that after all the uncertainly of the past year, we have been able to rehearse and perform for you this year. And grateful for this year’s cast and crew who have worked hard so that we can pull this off together.”
