Carroll Police call log: Sept. 30, 2019

2:34 a.m. — Assisted with a medical call in the 300 block of North Maple Street. 

2:51 a.m. — Commercial burglar alarm in the 800 block of East 18th Street. False alarm. 

6:17 a.m. — Report of a suspicious male at U.S. Highway 30 and Main Street. Joshua Petersen, 24, of Carroll, was arrested for public intoxication. 

8:16 a.m. — Motor vehicle accident at 11th Street and Grant Road. A 2011 Ford Fusion driven by Kay Teague, 82, of Carroll, was southbound on Grant Road. A 2006 Chevrolet Impala driven by Kaylynn Kruckenberg, 18, of Lytton, was also southbound on Grant Road. Kruckenberg reported that her shoe became stuck on the accelerator causing her to strike the Teague vehicle causing functional damage to both vehicles. No injuries were reported and Kruckenberg was cited for failure to maintain control. 

10:31 a.m. — Report of an abandon vehicle in the 800 block of Amy Circle. 

10:34 a.m. — Report of fraud in the 700 block of Granada Road. 

11:30 a.m. — Report of fraud in the 100 block of West Fifth Street. 

3:42 p.m. — Assisted with a family issue in the 1300 block of North West Street. 

6:55 p.m. — Welfare check in the 600 block of Parkview Drive.

8:46 p.m. — Assisted with an inmate issue at the Carroll County jail. 

9:18 p.m. — Nicole Sanchez, 29, of Carroll, was arrested in the 1700 block of North West Street on a Carroll County warrant for failure to appear.
