For your next get together, take two popular appetizers and combine them into one. Jalapeno popper bacon-wrapped shrimp are a tasty and fun appetizer.
Jalapeno Popper Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp
These tempting bites are so irresistible, they will fly right off the plate. In order to save time, they can be prepared the night before and then cooked right before serving.
- 12 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact or removed
- 3 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 small jalapenos, seeds removed, finely minced
- 6 slices thin cut bacon, cut in half
Add cream cheese, all-purpose seasoning, garlic powder, shredded cheese, and minced jalapenos to a bowl. Use a spoon to mix until well combined. Spoon a 1/2 teaspoon of filling onto large end of shrimp. Wrap shrimp with half strip of bacon. Use toothpick to secure if desired. Place a piece of bread in bottom of air fryer to catch bacon grease. Place 5-6 shrimp in air fryer. Set air fryer to 350 degrees. Cook for 8 minutes, flipping after 4 minutes. Remove toothpicks if using and serve.
