Carroll grade school baseball player tests positive for COVID-19, Rec cancels league

The City of Carroll Parks and Recreation Department was notified Monday that an individual in the third and fourth grade boys baseball league has tested positive for COVID-19, Carroll City Manager Mike Pogge-Weaver said.

Following recommendations of Carroll County Public Health, the City of Carroll is canceling the remainder of the season for the third and fourth grade boys baseball league.

All other baseball and softball teams will continue the season, which ends on Thursday, July 30.

The Carroll Parks and Recreation Department will issue a $10 credit onto the accounts of all registered players of the third and fourth grade boys baseball league.
