19 new coronavirus cases in Iowa

There are 19 more confirmed coronavirus cases in Iowa in the past day, which brings the state's total to 124, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.

None of them were in Carroll County or its surrounding counties.

The new cases were reported in central and eastern parts of the state, with Polk County adding five cases. Counties that had their first confirmed cases were: Buchanan, Cedar, Jasper and Warren.

There are five pending tests for Carroll County, local health officials said.
