Crawford County sheriff endorses King challenger in primary

  • 0

Woodbury County Republican Supervisor Jeremy Taylor of Sioux City, a candidate for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, announced that Crawford County Sheriff James Steinkuehler has endorsed his candidacy.

Taylor, a former state representative, is one of four Republicans running in the GOP primary for the seat now held by U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Kiron.

I am supporting Jeremy Taylor for Congress,” Steinkuehler said in a news release. “He has tirelessly advocated for law enforcement at the local level to include giving them life-saving equipment and their families insurance when they fall in the line of duty. We need a strong voice for law enforcement at the federal level, and I trust Jeremy to get the job done.”
