9:26 a.m. — Motor vehicle accident at Clark St. and Grant Rd. A red 2007 Ford Fusion driven by Robert Raveling, 54, of Templeton, was northbound on Grant Road and stopped for traffic. A white 2016 Ram van driven by Christian Smith, 26, of Slater, was also northbound and failed to slow for traffic rear-ending the Raveling vehicle. Functional damage was sustained to both vehicles. Smith was cited for failure to maintain control.

2 p.m. — Driving complaint in the 1100 block of Amy Ave. 

3:06 p.m. — Driving complaint at Highway 30 and Division St. 

4:09 p.m. — Dawn Miller, 47, of Carroll, was arrested in the 2000 block of Kittyhawk Avenue for theft 4th degree. The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 7, 2022. During arrest, stolen merchandise was located, and she received an additional charge of theft 5th degree. 

5:37 p.m. — Commercial burglar alarm in the 300 block of S Clark St. False alarm.

9:10 a.m. — Motor vehicle accident at Highway 30 and Grant Rd. A silver 2014 Nissan Sentra driven by Shane Butler, 30, of Scranton was eastbound on Highway 30. A white 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Daniel Sturm, 64, of Carroll, was northbound on Grant Rd. Sturm turned eastbound on Highway 30 and struck the Butler vehicle causing functional damage to both vehicles.

2:49 p.m. — Motor vehicle accident at Highway 30 and Bella Vista Dr. A gold 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Cheyann Neumann, 15, of Carroll, was eastbound on Highway 30 and lost control of her vehicle due to road conditions and left the roadway crossing Bella Vista Dr. A red 2005 Buick Lesabre driven by Michael Smith, 56, of Westside was northbound on Bella Vista Drive and struck the Neumann vehicle. The Neumann vehicle was disabled.
