  • 0

GUTHRIE CENTER: Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright has told the Guthrie County Board of Supervisors that times have changed when it comes to hiring deputies.

He reported having eight applicants for two positions, with four interviewed.

“Five years ago we’d have 40 applicants and interview 20,” the sheriff said. “Now no one wants to be a police officer.”
