A 38-year-old Lohrville man was seriously injured when he was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle on a gravel road east of Lanesboro on Sunday.

Francis Adam Kennebeck was riding a 2020 Honda Foreman and turned north onto Zepher Avenue from 120th Street, about two miles east of Lanesboro, when the vehicle made an abrupt left turn and threw Kennebeck onto the roadway about 8 p.m., according to a Carroll County Sheriff's report.

It's unclear why the vehicle veered to the left, the report said.

Kennebeck was taken by ambulance to a hospital. He suffered suspected serious and incapacitating injuries.
