SHOOTING FOR RECORD: Carroll’s two mile relay team will be out to break the school record of 8:17 flat set in 1964 in the boys state. From left are Jeff Petersen, Randy Meals, Byron Finch and Tim Fredrickson. The flour-class meet gets underway at 2:30 p.m. and concludes around 6:30 or 7 p.m. The two-day affair that ends Saturday will attract 2,800 athletes.
