St. Anthony announces temporary visitor restriction

  • 0

Due to an increase in communicable illnesses, St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Nursing Home has implemented a temporary visitor restriction.

The hospital asks that only immediate family members over 18 years of age visit residents of the nursing home and that only spouses or significant others visit patients in the hospital at this time.

The hospital also asks that people not come to Mass at the nursing home chapel for now unless they are residents or family members.

These restrictions often last about 10 days, said Paula Lambertz, executive assistant to the president and CEO at St. Anthony, but the timeline varies by instance.

The hospital will announce when the restrictions have been lifted.
