TRUCK AND CAR CRASH: Passersby stop to look at an overturned grain truck and sacks of hog feed spilled on Highway 71 north of Carroll early Monday morning. The truck, driven by Ronald Simm of Cleghorn, overturned after a collision with a car driven by Richard Bachman of rural Auburn, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office reported. Both vehicles were headed south and the Bachman car was turning left when the rear-end crash occurred. The Bachman car was demolished, officers said. Extensive damage was caused to the truck.
