VIEW URBAN RENEWAL AREA: A delegation of 31 Sioux City business and civic leaders were in Carroll Tuesday to observe the central business district urban renewal project. Mayor William S. Farner (far right) was one of the hosts; others were H. C. Schogren, Wm. J. Keenan, E. C. Pudenz, H. J. Kienapfel, James W. Wilson and Ronald H. Schechtman. The group visited the new Westgate Mall and then toured the downtown area. A slide presentation on Carroll's urban renewal project was shown by Pudenz and Kienapfel after a noon luncheon at Tony's Restaurant.
