BOY HAS A DISABILITY BUT NOT HANDICAPPED: Terry Kasperson, 11, son of Mrs. Arlene Kasperson and the late Mr. Kasperson of Westside, is a fine example of a youngster with a disability who is not handicapped. Terry, who was disabled at birth with arthrogryposis, which seriously deformed his hands and feet and eventually resulted in the amputation of his left leg, has been selected as the 1970 Iowa Easter Seal Boy. Throughout the early treatment of his disability Terry was a typical boy with a tremendous drive for participation in all activities that interest boys. He now attends the public school at Arcadia.
