FETE FOR MISS IOWA: A gala homecoming celebration was held Thursday afternoon at the Elks Club, welcoming back home Carroll's "Miss Iowa," Jackie Jochims, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Jochims. City and county officials, friends of the Jochims family, former teachers and a large number of other well-wishers were on hand to surprise them as they arrived home by car from Florida, where Jackie represented Iowa last Saturday night in the Miss U.S.A. contest. Gifts were presented to both Jackie and Mrs. Jochims and refreshments were served. Jack Stangl was in charge of the arrangements.
