BUCKBOARD IS DONATED: David Nieland (left) and Russell White, park custodian, try out the front seat of a restored buckboard that was donated to the Carroll County Historical Society by the M.R. Tan Creti family. The buckboard will become a part of the permanent historical display being developed by the historical society at a site on the east side of Swan Lake State Park. Mr. Nieland, chairman of the society's project at Swan Lake, has made an appeal to other area citizens to donate objects, large or small, to the exhibit.
