Groundbreaking ceremonies for the new Case Power & Equipment Co. building were held Thursday on the 10-acre site the company purchased three-fourths of a mile east of Carroll on Highway 30. The new building of steel and concrete will contain 10,000 square feet with a 30 x 72-ft. canopy serving as an outside display area. The parts department, display floor, office and mezzanine will be air-conditioned. The mezzanine will contain a conference room and will be made available for 4-H, FFA and Boy Scout meetings as well as for other civic groups. It is expected the building will be completed by Feb. 1.
