Union Pacific awards $10,000 to Carroll Depot

  • 0

The Union Pacific Foundation Board has awarded a local grant in the Community Spaces cause area to the Carroll Depot Centre Foundation Stabilization and Landscaping.

“Union Pacific has a long-standing commitment to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve and where our employees live and work,” Union Pacific Foundation president Scott Moore said. “Our vision is that Union Pacific employees will take pride in their company’s civic leadership and that our customers and shareholders will appreciate and recognize Union Pacific as an excellent corporate citizen.”

Region XII COG staff prepared the grant application and helped secure the $10,000 grant award amount. Funds will be used for masonry work, including the removal and replacement of 26-feet of stone base along the south of the Carroll Depot building.
