Julie Promes died after the motorcycle, driven by Craig Promes, 59, of Denison, sharply turned about 9:30 p.m. while northbound on Iowa Highway 30 near Avenue C.

Julie Promes was taken by ambulance to nearby Crawford County Memorial Hospital with unspecified fatal injuries.

A investigation into the incident is still underway, the report said.
