Linda Marie Langenfeld, 64, of Indianola, Iowa, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at her home.
Linda was born May 17, 1955, in Carroll, Iowa, to Donald V. and Frances A. (Hoskovec) Feldt. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1973. Linda then went on to marry Dale Langenfeld Sr. on June 23, 1973, in Vail, Iowa. Together, they had three sons. Linda had four granddaughters, who she loved spending time with as she watched them grow up. Linda spent the last years of her life in Indianola with her two cats, Blade and Ginger, who she enjoyed taking care of.
Linda is survived by her sons: Dale Langenfeld Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska, and Joshua Langenfeld of Norwalk, Iowa; four granddaughters: Alexis Jo Langenfeld of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Taylor Langenfeld, Sarah Langenfeld and Hunter Langenfeld, all of Norwalk; sisters: Carol Stork (Gordie) of Clive Iowa, and Cindy Eifler (Jeff) of Carroll; several nieces and nephews; and many friends in the communities where she had lived over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Jason Michael Langenfeld; her son’s father, Dale Langenfeld Sr.; and a special friend of many years, Ralph Watson.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at Peterson Funeral Home, 602 E. Salem, Indianola. Burial will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak, Iowa.
