Ray Wiedemeier, 80, formerly of Carroll, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church-St. John Paul II Parish in Carroll. The celebrant will be Father Patrick Behm. Music will be by Kathy Halbur. Lector will be Phil Phillips. Casket bearers will be Ray’s family. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll, and online condolences may be left for Ray’s family at www.sharpfuneral.com.

Raymond was born on Dec. 3, 1941, as the only child of Dr. Raymond and Leola (Lydon)Wiedemeier of Lytton, Iowa.

Raymond is survived by his six grandchildren: Carla, Holly, Lindsay, Danielle, John and Michael; and extended family.
