Child care immunization audit reported

A resolution to donate the ambulance golf cart to Carroll Community School District will be put on the agenda for next week. Its main use will be  for events at the stadium. 

Gene Meiners made a motion to approve the plat and payables in the amount of $340,189.78. 

Carroll County Public Health Department gave a quarterly update. Child care facility on-site immunization audits have been completed. Only one certificate was missing through the entire county, which is a significant improvement from previous years. In the 2021-2022 audit, 21 certificates were missing. Roughly 20 document boxes full of immunization records from St. Anthony, a majority of which were never entered into IRIS are now completed. On March 3, there will be a meeting and panel discussion with new Iowa Health and Human Services Medical Director Dr. Robert Kruse. 

Representatives from Manning Child Care Center were present and requested $15,000 funding for fiscal year 2024, up from $8,500 this year. They would like to use part of the funding to improve the facility to be fully handicapped accessible. 

Zac Andersen with Secondary Roads reviewed gravel quotes with the supervisors. The Board approved a quote for $7.50/ton was approved. 

Adjustments in the supervisors’ committee assignments were also made so EMS, HAZMT, and 911 stayed with the same member.
