DOT budget amendment approved

The Carroll County Board of Supervisors in their weekly meeting on Monday approved County Engineer Zac Andersen’s FY23 DOT budget amendment transferring funds for increased operating and material costs. Delivery of a new 2023 motor grader is expected in May.

Also approved was a 10-inch drain repair in Drain District 66. Bridge deck repairs are in process on N44, E53 and Kittyhawk Avenue just north of Highway 30. Jade Avenue will be closed from Iris Avenue north to 170th Street for concrete additions on the north and south sides of Union Pacific railroad tracks.

Carroll Country Club cigarette permit was approved.

A public hearing for FY23 budget was set for 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 22, in the Board room.

Next meeting will be at 9 a.m. Monday, May 15, in the Board room at the Courthouse.
