To the Editor:

Your editorial about the Walmart boycott was correct on all counts. I recently traveled to Carroll and stayed at the Carrollton Inn. I was astounded to see that none of the employees at the Carrollton nor the attached restaurant were wearing masks. This made me feel very uncomfortable as I wear a mask everywhere both for my protection and for my employees.

If we want to have a healthy economy we must do everything possible to stop the spread of the virus. All it takes to shut down a business is having one employee or one customer come in contact with COVID-19. The masks serve two purposes. One to protect you from the possibility that I have COVID-19 and do not show any symptoms, and second to provide me with some protection. I have too much at risk to frequent a business that does not have ALL their employees wearing masks.
