At the Carroll County Board of Supervisors’ weekly meeting on Monday, County Engineer Zac Andersen received approval to seek bids for milling and resurfacing E46 from Halbur to M68. This 3-mile stretch of county highway was scheduled for 2024 and is seeking bids for fiscal year 2021-22.

The Board signed agreement with Carosh for compliance training for county employees relating to HIPPA (health-information privacy) requirements.

The board approved Change Order 7 on the jail construction, which has passed 75% completion. There were 10 minor modifications totaling $28,589.

Dean Schettler reported Carroll County Public Health is working with the Iowa Department of Public Health on increasing COVID-19 vaccine allocations and with the potential of a mass vaccination. Volunteers are needed and date(s) will be announced as vaccine doses are allocated. Interested volunteers may contact Sara Anderson at or by phone at 712-830-7582.
