DMACC to host 'Pack the Gym' basketball doubleheader Saturday

Free admission for K-12 students wearing their school gear

The DMACC men's and women's basketball teams will host a “Pack the Gym” doubleheader versus North Iowa Community College on Saturday on the DMACC Boone Campus, and free admission will be offered for all K-12 students who attend wearing their school’s gear.

The DMACC women’s basketball team (1 p.m. game time), led by Head Coach Steve Krafcisin, has won three consecutive games coming into this weekend’s match-up, bringing its season record to 8-7 overall and 2-1 in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference.

The DMACC men’s basketball team (3 p.m. game time), led by Head Coach Josh Sash, currently is ranked fifth in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II poll with a 14-2 record and a 2-0 mark in the ICCAC. The Bears have won their last seven games coming into this Saturday’s contest against the fourth-ranked NIACC men’s basketball team.

— Free admission for K-12 students wearing their school gear

— Free admission for DMACC students, staff and faculty with DMACC ID
