The first two sets weren’t easy, but they were successful for the Titans.
SCC, trying to play the role of spoiler won the first two sets against East Sac 25-23 on Thursday night.
That seemed to inspire the Raiders, who were fighting to win the outright possession of the Twin Lakes Conference regular season championship.
After starting from behind in the third set the Raiders were able to rally for a 25-15 third set win. They then were able to back that up with a 25-22 victory in the fourth set to set up the conference-deciding fifth set.
Both teams controlled the ball at different times in the set, but it was the home crowd of East Sac County that helped the Raiders pull off the ultimate 15-12 victory.
Junior Bailey Wollesen for theRaiders had one of her best games of the season, leading both teams with 23 kills on the night.
East Sac’s Brianna Boeckman had 17 digs.
Emma McKinney led the Titans with 12 kills on Thursday. Riley Batta and Laci Riedesel both finished with 10 kills each.
Both teams will play in the TLC tournament this week.
