  • 0

Carroll continues to climb the standings, as the Tigers picked up a non-conference win against East Sac County on Thursday night.

The Tigers (3-6) were able to strike four times in the first half to gain another shot of confidence as they try to build momentum going into the final month of the regular season.

Confidence came in spades on Thursday night, especially early on, as the Tigers were able to gain four goals in the first 40 minutes.

The star of the first half was sophomore Jireh Gallegos, who put two goals into the back of the net in the first half. Throughout the game, Gallegos only had two shots on goal, both of which scored.

Emmanuel Jioklow and Deng Nyock also added a goal in the first half. Treyton Goins and Nolan Mohr combined for 13 saves.
