In their final two games of the season the Knights picked up one win.
The Knights closed out the regular season at the end of last week. They were able to down South Hamilton on Thursday night. Saturday night the Knights fell to Harlan.
Against South Hamilton the Knights shot the ball well in an 83-71 victory.
Over the course of the second and third quarters the Knights were able to score 46 points. South Hamilton kept the offense up as well through the same time frame they added 37 points.
However the Knights offense never slowed down. Kuemper added another 19 points in the final frame. South Hamilton added 18, but was never able to get within two possessions of the Knights throughout the game.
In the game the Knights were led by Michael Kasperbauer with 23 total points. Carson Kanne added 17 points.
Carter Putney finished with 10 points. Evan Adams added eight points. Dawson Gifford finished with seven points.
Brock Badding had six points. Tregan Beiter added six points as well. Taye Vonnahem finishd with four points. Koby Lampman and Trebor Rial both added one point.
In a game played on Saturday against Harlan the Knights weren’t able to get the same offensive production that they had against South Hamilton.
At halftime the Knights trailed 33-14.
Kuemper shot their way back into the contest with a 22-point third quarter. The Knights started the final frame trailing by seven, but they were out scored 17-7 in the fourth.
Kasperbauer and Kanne both scored 12 points each. Badding added six points. Vonnahme had four points. Beiter and Putney added three points each.
