Knights sweep matches against Audubon

Kuemper Catholic’s tennis teams walked away with victories over Audubon on Thursday afternoon.

On the girls side of the action, the Knights were able to sweep their matches against the Wheelers, as the Knights were able to win all six singles and three doubles matches.

Samantha Tidgren started the wins for the Knights in the No. 1 singles spot with an 8-0 win.

Jordan Schwabe finished the No. 2 singles match with a 8-4 victory.

Alyssa Brant won her No. 3 singles match, where she won 8-2 against her Wheeler opponent.

In the No. 4 singles spot, Banessa Breedlove won her match 8-0.

Sophie Rohe won her No. 5 singles spot 8-3.

Keziah Janssen finished the No. 6 singles spot with a 8-1 victory.

The doubles matches featured Tidgren and Schwabe winning 8-1 in the No. 1 doubles match.

Rohe and Janssen won all eight of their games in the No. 2 doubles match.

Heidi Kraus and Morgan Muhlbauer were challenged in the No. 3 doubles spot, but won 8-5.

On the boys side, the Kuemper won the match 6-0.

Jared Hausman won the No. 1 singles match 8-0. Another 8-0 win was turned in by No. 4 singles player Josh Langel.

Both Jared Craig and Hans Kraus won their No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches 8-1.

In doubles, Jared and Jake Hausman won 8-2 in the No. 1 doubles. Carter Allman and Jair Tiefenthaler won 8-1.
