One day after golfing at the CYO meet, the Knights didn’t slow down as they were able to win a triangular against Lewis Central and Denison-Schleswig on Thursday.
The Knights would finish with 167 total strokes in the meet. Lewis Central took second with 180 strokes. Denison-Schleswig had a total of 191 total strokes.
The Knights were led by Maverick Schwabe, who finished with just 40 strokes on his scorecard. That allowed Schwabe to earn the medalist honors at the meet.
Jack Tiefenthaler and Mitchell Badding both would shoot a 42 at the meet.
Benicio Lujano kept the team scores low, recording a round of 43 to round out the four team scores of the Knights on Thursday.
Tyler Auen finished with 46 strokes. Carter Putney finished with 55 strokes in the meet. Their scores were not included in the Kuemper team scores.
