A consistent three quarters of scoring helped the IKM-Manning football team power to their third straight win.
Friday’s 35-16 win was capped off by a pair of touchdowns for IKM-Manning in the fourth quarter. Before that, they scored three touchdowns, one each in the previous three quarters.
Colten Brandt scored off a 23-yard run in the first quarter to give the Wolves a lead. After Manson-NW Webster scored a touchdown to take an 8-7 lead, the Wolves answered when Nolan Ramsey connected with Parker Behrens on a 44-yard passing score. One minute into the new half the Wolves extended their advantage when Amos Rasmussen broke off a 29-yard scoring run. Manson scored their second and final touchdown later in the third.
In the fourth quarter the Wolves started off when Kyler Rasmussen capped off a 9-play drive with a one yard touchdown run. Later, the Wolves scored when Nolan Ramsey connected with Luke Ramsey from 21 yards out for the game’s final score.
The Wolves gained a total of 339 yards. They gained 256 rushing yards and 83 from pass. Manson-NW Webster had 242 total yards, 166 passing yards and 76 rushing.
Kyler Rasmussen also had one interception returned for 54 yards.
The Wolves will try to win a fourth-straight win when they host Alta-Aurelia (4-2) on Friday night.
